Slovak employment grows in several sectors

Employment rose in several sectors in December last year, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Friday. Employment grew year-on-year in December 2017 in the sale and repair of motor vehicles - 6.2 percent, in restaurants and pubs - 5.6 percent, in transport and warehousing - 4.4 percent, in industry - 4.1 percent, in construction and in accommodation - both 3.6 percent, in retail and in information and communications activities - both 2.6 percent, in wholesale - 2 percent, and in selected market services - 0.5 percent.
