Slovak construction prices up 2.8 pc

The prices of construction work grew by 0.2 percent month-on-month and by 2.8 percent year-on-year (y-o-y) in July, the Statistics Office reported on Friday. In the first seven months of the year construction work prices went up by 3 percent y-o-y. The prices of construction materials went up by 0.3 percent on a month-on-month basis in July. They fell by 1.1 percent when compared to July 2019, however. Prices of construction materials fell by 0.4 percent y-o-y in the January-July period.
