September will be a key month, because it can indicate the further development of the novel coronavirus outbreak in Slovakia, chief hygienist Jan Mikas said on Monday. He pointed out the return of people from holidays, employees to work, and children or students to schools. He also announced that the Central Crisis Committee and the Council of Experts will be discussing the situation at a meeting taking place this week. "September will be a trial period. We will see the impact of the return of our citizens. It will tell us what the next developments could be", said the chief hygienist. He also acknowledged the rising case numbers: "Those numbers are getting bigger, they're not the values we're used to".
