Senate debates petition against China's persecution of Falun Gong

The persecution of the Falun Gong meditation movement by the regime in China was criticised by the participants in today's public hearing in the Czech Senate, which dealt with a petition against the genocide of Falun Gong followers. Some speakers accused China of taking bodily organs away from Falun Gong supporters and supplying them for transplant purposes. Over 40,000 people have signed the petition called for an end to the genocide of Falun Gong followers. This is enough for the Senate petition committee to prepare a draft resolution for the upper house's plenary session to vote on.
