Senate calls on PM Babis to resign

November 15th, 2018

The Senate calls it unacceptable that PM Andrej Babis (ANO) would stay in the government till the Capi hnizdo case, in which he is prosecuted, is fully investigated over new suspicions, senators agreed in a resolution supported even by the junior government Social Democrats (CSSD) today. The senior government ANO senators either abstained from the vote or voted against it. PM Babis is prosecuted over an EU subsidy fraud in the Capi hnizdo case.
