Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen and Miklos Soltesz, state secretary for religious affairs, on Friday met Robert Singer, the deputy leader of the World Jewish Congress (WJC), to discuss the government's support for the country's Jewish community, the prime minister's press chief said. Singer thanked the government for its all-round support for the Jewish community, Bertalan Havasi said. Semjen and Soltesz pledged that the government would continue supporting Hungarian Jewish religious communities, he said.
