Polish retail sales grew by 9.2 percent year on year in December 2017 after a 7.6 percent increase in November. Month on month, retail sales grew by 0.2 percent, Eurostat, the EU's statistics agency, said on Monday. According to Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS), Poland's retail sales rose by 6.0 percent year on year and 16.6 percent month on month in December 2017. Eurostat data also include the smallest companies, employing fewer than ten people - which are, in this case, small family shops - but exclude auto sales.
