Slovakia in 2017 didn't experience any outages in supplies of key raw energy materials, including coal, crude oil, natural gas and nuclear fuel, and electricity and fuels, according to a Report on Slovakia's Security in 2017 presented by the Government Office for comments on Tuesday. The mining of brown coal and lignite last year covered 75 percent of domestic consumption, while Slovakia was a 100-percent importer of black coal. Meanwhile, Slovakia covers 99 percent of its oil consumption by imports from Russia, the figure with gas reaches 98 percent.
