Ratio of Czechs refusing to accept refugees falls to 58pc

June 8th, 2018

A majority of Czechs, 58 percent, refuse to accept refugees, data released by pollster CVVM shows. This is a fall from the 68 percent measured last autumn, it said. Refugees are considered a threat to European security by 82 percent of Czechs, to international peace by 71 percent and to the security of the Czech Republic by 68 percent. These have been the lowest figures since October 2015, months after the European migrant crisis started, when this kind of poll was first carried out.
