Punished by UEFA, Czech Sparta vows to crack down on rowdies

The Czech police have identified most of the rowdies who breached the peace during the Sparta Praha club's recent European League qualifier, they have announced, with Sparta vowing to ban rowdies from matches and make them compensate for the damage they caused. In reaction to Sparta fans' excesses during the Sparta Praha vs Spartak Subotica 2nd qualifying round matches played earlier this month, the UEFA disciplinary commission punished Sparta by ordering it to play its next UEFA cup match at home without spectators, and fining it twice 50,000 euros.
