Prices in industry, agriculture drop in December 2018

Prices of industrial producers for the domestic market dropped by 0.7 percent in month-on-month terms in December 2018, the Statistics Office has reported. An even more significant drop, of 0.8 percent, was observed in agricultural products. Prices of construction work remained the same. In industrial production prices of coke and refined oil products saw the biggest reduction - 13.6 percent, while the prices of wood and paper products and print fell by 0.8 percent. When it came to agricultural products, the prices of animal products fell most sharply - by 8.1 percent. Prices of plant products went up by the same margin.
