President Zeman signs series of bills into laws

President Milos Zeman signed today the new waste bill and the amendments on the coverage of COVID antigen tests, on water protection and on duty to release real owners of firms seeking state support into laws today, his spokesman Jiri Ovcacek has said. The waste law, which takes effect in January, postpones the landfilling end in the Czech Republic by six years until 2030, while fees for waste dumping will be gradually rising.
