President Zeman appoints new ministers

April 30th, 2019

Czech President Milos Zeman appointed the new industry and trade, justice and transport ministers, Karel Havlicek, Marie Benesova and Vladimir Kremlik (all for ANO), respectively, on Tuesday. They replaced the ANO ministers Marta Novakova (industry and trade), Jan Knezinek (justice) and Dan Tok (transport). Zeman also appointed Havlicek and Finance Minister Alena Schillerova (for ANO) as new deputy prime ministers after dismissing Environment Minister Richard Brabec (ANO) from the deputy PM post.
