December 4th, 2020
Polish President Andrzej Duda has signed a legal amendment permitting retail trade on Sunday, December 6, the president's office announced on Friday. The additional day of trading is intended to reduce crowding during the pre-Christmas shopping period. Under existing Sunday trading laws, there is no barrier to trade on the two Sundays prior to Christmas, which this year fall on December 13 and 20.
