Polish President Andrzej Duda said at a meeting with the Jewish community in Krakow, south Poland, that he would like to "continue the work of the late President Lech Kaczynski, who appreciated the value of Jewish culture." "No one in Poland knows how much Jewish blood they really have," the Polish president said. To answer the question whether Jews have a future in Poland, I answer: they have, because they are here, and this is absolutely obvious to me," he stressed. President Duda emphasised that Poles and Jews carry a thousand years of common history.
