Prague to contribute 296 million crowns to EU aid to Turkey

The Czech Republic will contribute 296 million crowns to the EU aid to Turkey by 2023 within the EU-Turkey deal on tackling migration, the cabinet decided today. Turkey is to receive a total of three billion euros (78 billion crowns) from the EU in the given period, including two billion from the EU budget and one billion from individual member states. Based on the cabinet's decision today, of which it informed the media in a press release, the Czech Republic is to pay a total of 11.38 million euros (296 million crowns) within the EU aid to Turkey.
