Pompeo praises US Steel Kosice's help to local medical staff

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has praised a step by US Steel Kosice that provided help in fight the novel coronavirus to health workers in Kosice region. "I am glad to see American private sector companies helping their communities, like this one in Slovakia," he posted on a social network on Wednesday. The US company donated over 120,000 euros to two Kosice hospitals and for producing protective devices for medical staff via 3D printing. The firm has also joined a project involving a lung ventilator prototype, providing the cover design and materials for its production.
