Pompeo leaves Czech Republic after two-day visit

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo ended his two-day visit to the Czech Republic and left Prague on Thursday to continue his tour of Central Europe and visit Slovenia, Austria and Poland. On Tuesday, Pompeo visited the west Bohemian centre Plzen where he and his Czech counterpart Tomas Petricek commemorated the liberation of the western part of Czechoslovakia by the US military 75 years ago.
