Polish unemployment index up in June

The Labour Market Index (WRP), which provides forecasts about future changes in the level of unemployment in Poland, went up by 0.9 points in June, the Bureau for Investments and Economic Cycles (BIEC) said on Friday. BIEC experts note that the index grew for the third month running. June's growth scale was two-fold higher than a month ago. "Last year, the index also grew at a similar rate which may indicate a short-lived growth instead of a reversal of the long-lasting positive trends," the researcher said.
