Polish Sejm passes National Freedom Institute law
September 15th, 2017
The Polish Sejm (lower house) on Friday passed a law on the National Freedom Institute, a government agency tasked with supporting non-governmental organisations (NGOs). The National Freedom Institute - The Civil Society Development Centre, a new agency that is to be established at the PM's Office, is to support NGOs and distribute public funds among them.
