Polish PM, European Council head discuss EU budget ahead of summit

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the President of the European Council Charles Michel have held phone consultations, before the Thursday video summit of EU leaders, on the future EU budget and the mitigation of the socio-economic effects of the pandemic crisis. The topics of the talks included a coordinated strategy of exiting from the introduced restrictions and a comprehensive recovery plan for the EU, the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union tweeted on Tuesday.
