Polish oil concern to supply fuel for US troops in Poland

Polish oil conglomerate PKN Orlen has signed a contract for the supplies of diesel and aviation fuel to US troops stationed in Poland as part of NATO's increased presence on its eastern flank, PKN Orlen announced on Wednesday. The fuel will be delivered to military bases where US forces are stationed, the company added. Under the agreement, PKN Orlen will continue supplying fuel until the end of the year, but the deal may be extended, the company said, adding that it has already been selling fuel to US units since April 2017 under spot contracts.
