Polish oil concern discovers new natural gas field

Polish Oil and Gas Company, PNGiG, has discovered a new gas deposit in the Lubaczow district of the Podkarpacie region in south-eastern Poland, PNGiG wrote in a press release on Monday. An initial analysis indicates a production capacity of 20 million cubic metres of natural gas annually. The newly discovered gas field is located within the Lubliniec-Cieszanow concession area, at a depth of 700 metres.
