The result of the December 3-4 NATO summit in London is very satisfactory for Poland, Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak told Polish Radio One on Friday. NATO members agreed to update the defence plans for Poland and the Baltic states despite earlier threats by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that he would block the move if NATO did not support Tukey's fight against Kurdish YPG militias in Syria. Blaszczak stressed the role of Polish President Andrzej Duda who had held one-to-one talks with his Turkish counterpart on the matter.
