Polish-Lithuanian Council of Defence Ministers to be established

Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Lithuania Nerijus Aleksiejunas announced on Tuesday that a Polish-Lithuanian Council of Defence Ministers would be established. Aleksiejunas made the statement during the presentation of plans for a two-day visit of Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite to Poland. The visit will start on Thursday. In an interview with a Lithuanian radio broadcaster, Aleksiejunas said that the task of the council would be to discuss defence issues. Meetings will be held at least once a year.
