Polish Judiciary Council head on ENCJ's plan to suspend the body

The possible suspension of the Polish National Judiciary Council (KRS) by the European Network of Councils for the Judiciary (ENCJ) or even its exclusion from the organisation will not harm the Polish judicial system, the KRS chairman wrote in a statement. The ENCJ said on Thursday it planned to suspend Poland after political interference meant its legal system was no longer independent of the government.
