Polish industrial production up in August - stats office

Industrial output in Poland rose by an annual 8.8 percent in August after a 6.2 percent increase in July, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Tuesday. In month-on-month terms, industrial production grew by 5.9 percent in August after an 8.5 percent fall in July, GUS said. August's seasonally-adjusted industrial production index grew by an annual 8.1 percent and by 3.2 percent month-on-month, GUS said.
