The planned government reshuffle in Poland will take place in late September or a bit later, deputy spokesperson for the ruling party Law and Justice (PiS), Radoslaw Fogiel, said on Friday, just days after two cabinet ministers decided to step down. Health Minister Lukasz Szumowski tendered his resignation on Tuesday, while Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz followed suit on Thursday. On Thursday afternoon Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced their replacements, namely the current head of the health-care fund NFZ Adam Niedzielski as the new health minister and current head of the Sejm's foreign affairs committee Zbigniew Rau as the new foreign minister.
