Polish fuel conglomerate announces plans for foreign expansion

Poland's state-owned fuel conglomerate PKN Orlen on Tuesday announced plans to purchase new fuel stations abroad and expand its oil refinery in Lithuania. Orlen's CEO Daniel Obajtek told reporters the company is "interested in acquisitions in countries where Orlen, or our subsidiary companies, are present." He added that the concern's companies in Lithuania (Orlen Lietuva) and the Czech Republic (Unipetrol) are already holding talks on this subject.
