Polish firm signs EUR 61.5 m deal to supply trolleybuses to Italy

Solaris, a Polish manufacturer of urban-transport vehicles, announced on Friday it had signed a framework agreement to supply up to 80 trolleybuses to the Italian city of Milan. Under the contract, which is worth 61.5 million euros, 30 such vehicles (named Trollino 18), will be provided to Milan's ATM transport company by mid-2019. The customer has an option to order 50 more, Solaris said in a statement.
