Polish defence ministry signs contract for delivery of four Black Hawk choppers
January 25th, 2019
Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak and PZL Mielec aviation plant CEO Janusz Zakrecki signed a contract on Friday for the delivery of four S-701 Black Hawk helicopters. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, attending the signing ceremony, said that by signing the contract Poland not only strengthens NATO and the security of Polish skies but also Polish industry. The four helicopters, meant for Polish Special Forces, are to be delivered by the end of this year.
