Polish charity plans aid project for Yemen

The Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is planning an aid project for Yemen, where 22 million people are in need of assistance as they are dying from starvation, a cholera epidemic and a civil war, PAP was told by a charity representative on Monday. "We have 400,000 zlotys (EUR 93,000) for a thorough analysis of the situation in Yemen and first-assistance operations. Due to the large scale of needs, we want to have a permanent mission in the region, as assistance will have to be offered there for many years," Paulina Gerak said.
