Polish and Ukrainian Deputy PMs to meet in Warsaw on Friday

Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Culture and National Heritage Piotr Glinski will host Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Rozenko in Warsaw on Friday to discuss controversies over history and Poland's new anti-defamation law, among other topics. Ahead of the meeting, the Polish deputy PM told PAP he was "pleased that Deputy PM Rozenko has accepted the invitation to Poland and I am certain it is going to be a good meeting." "I hope there is mutual understanding," he added, "both on historical matters, which are the most difficult, but need to be clarified, and on a common vision for the future, where our countries work together in numerous respects."
