The interests of Poland and the Czech Republic are becoming more convergent, the Polish-Czech trade turnover has reached over 20 billion euros and the Visegrad Group is Germany's largest trading partner, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Prague on Thursday. Poland's prime minister was in Prague to co-chair with his Czech counterpart Andrej Babis Polish-Czech inter-governmental consultations on Brexit, the next EU budget, migration and bilateral ties. Morawiecki noted that he met Babis regularly. "This is an expression of deepening Polish-Czech relations ... proving that our interests are increasingly convergent, when it comes to the EU and our bilateral relations." He also underlined the good cooperation among the Visegrad Group. "Cooperation among these four countries is closer than ever. We are able to achieve things of a fundamental level thanks to our coherent views, for example, on migration," he said.
