Polish agriculture can drive economy - PM

Polish agriculture can be an economic driving force, the government is introducing solutions to support farmers, PM Mateusz Morawiecki said in an interview for a Catholic radio broadcaster on Tuesday. Morawiecki said agriculture "offered a huge opportunity for Poland,", especially regarding the sale of Polish agri produce. In this context he mentioned his government's moves to open global markets for Polish food and encourage farmers to form production cooperatives. He added that the government's undertakings for agriculture promised better prosperity for rural areas.
