August 9th, 2018

The police are enquiring into the case of a text by an unknown author congratulating "Afghan patriots" on having killed three Czech soldiers, the copies of which have been posted at several places in Prague, police spokeswoman Andrea Zoulova has told CTK. The leaflet brands Czech soldiers in the Afghan mission mercenaries and invaders. According to the penal code, the crime of public approving of a committed terrorist act or praising the perpetrator carries a sentence from two to ten years in prison.
