Police: Austria to close two crossing points with Slovakia at midnight

Bratislava region police spokeswoman Veronika Martiniakova told TASR on Wednesday that the Austrian Interior Ministry has decided to close two of its crossing points with Slovakia from midnight on Wednesday, namely the one at Angern an der March-Zahorska Ves and one at the Freedom Cycling Bridge that connects the two countries across the Morava river. "Given its state of emergency, Austria has adopted measures concerning crossing points in connection with measures aimed at preventing the spread of Covid-19. They'll enter into effect at midnight on Wednesday," the spokeswoman said.
