Poland's unemployment at 5.9 percent in March

Poland's unemployment rate fell to 5.9 percent in March 2019 from 6.1 percent a month earlier, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) announced on Wednesday. Earlier, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy said that March unemployment rate stood at 5.9 percent in March, in line with the ministry's forecast. Analysts polled by PAP also expected the country's unemployment at 5.9 percent.
