Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Poland Sergey Andreyev was summoned to the Polish Foreign Ministry on Tuesday after the head of the Polish Institute of International Affairs was denied entry to Russia, Artur Lompart, head of the ministry's press office, told PAP. According to media reports, Russian Border Guard officers stopped the head of the Polish Institute of International Affairs Sławomir Dębski at Moscow Domodedovo airport denying him the right to enter Russia. Later in the day, Dębski told PAP that Russian authorities had imposed a three-year entry ban on him while his five-year Russian visa was annulled. Dębski explained he was travelling to Russia to take part in a conference on Russia's foreign policy to which he had been officially invited by the organiser.
