Poland Senate speaker suggests 16 repatriation centres

Senate (upper house) Speaker Stanislaw Karczewski has told PAP that Poland should have 16 repatriation centres, one in every province. He stressed that the two operating now were not enough. Karczewski attended the 22nd Polonia Forum in Torun (northern Poland) on Sunday. "Poland is growing richer and richer, therefore we should invest more funds to help Poles return from abroad. Such centres would teach the Polish language and culture. (...) Sixteen centres would solve the problem," Karczewski said.
