Poland secures 60 pc of this year's borrowing needs, says deputy minister

Poland has secured 60 percent of its 2018 borrowing needs after the second quarter of the year and pre-financed 5 billion zlotys (EUR 1.14bn) of the borrowing needs for next year. The Finance Ministry currently has 51 billion zlotys in its accounts. Due to the holiday season and favourable liquidity, Poland will offer bond issues worth just 8-10 billion zlotys in the third quarter of this year, Deputy Finance Minister Piotr Nowak wrote in a comment to a treasury bonds supply plan.
