Poland schools to reopen on Sept 1 - ministry official

The school year in Poland will start on September 1 as students will generally return to their classrooms, apart from exceptional cases where online teaching will be introduced, Health Ministry spokesperson Wojciech Andrusiewicz said on Friday. The spokesperson was asked whether the government was considering a delayed start of the school year due to increased coronavirus infections seen in recent weeks, with a new record of daily new cases reported on Friday.
