Poland reports 14,910 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, death toll at 638

Poland recorded 14,910 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 638 deaths over the past 24h to Wednesday morning, against 8,245 cases reported on Tuesday, data released by the Health Ministry shows. The healthcare system is now handling 34,691 Covid-19 hospitalisations, up from 33,544 recorded the day prior, including 3,342 patients on ventilators, against the total of 4,251 ventilators available, the Health Ministry said on Twitter. The health ministry also reported that 414,373 people are under quarantine.
