The Polish economy grew by 5.2 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2018 after a confirmed 4.9 percent growth rate in the fourth quarter of 2017, Central Statistical Office (GUS) data published on Wednesday show. Earlier in a flash estimate, GUS expected the GDP to grow by 4.9 percent in the first quarter. Poland's Q1 investments grew by 8.1 percent year on year, private consumption increased by 4.8 percent year on year and Poland's Q1 domestic demand rose by 6.8 percent, GUS also said.
