Poland posts EUR 378 m C/A surplus in Q1 - cbank

Poland posted a current account surplus of 378 million euros in the first quarter of 2018, after reporting a deficit of 578 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2017, according to a press release published by the National Bank of Poland on Friday. Exports grew by 1.6 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2018 to 215.7 billion zlotys (EUR 49.47bn), imports were up 4.7 percent to 219.4 billion zlotys.
