Poland's photovoltaic capacity to reach 1,500 MW in 2019 - minister

December 9th, 2019

At the end of this year, Poland's power generation from photovoltaic installations may reach 1,500 MW, Climate Minister Michal Kurtyka said on Monday, assuring that the government's programme of subsidising micro-installations will continue next year. The micro-installation support programme is operated online and has proven very popular, the minister noted. Poland covers up to 50 percent, but no more than PLN 5,000 (EUR 1,171), of the cost of photovoltaic installations generating between 2 and 10 KW of power.
