Poland's general gov't deficit at 1.5 pct of GDP in 2017

Poland's 2017 general government deficit stood at 1.5 percent of GDP, down from 2.3 percent of GDP at the end of 2016, after correction, the Central Statistics Office (GUS) announced in an initial estimate on Tuesday. In 2017, the general government debt amounted to 50.6 percent of GDP, against 54.2 percent at the end of 2016, after correction, GUS wrote.
