Poland's GDP growth likely higher than planned in 2018, says minister

February 2nd, 2018

This year, Poland's economy should grow by more than the 3.8 percent assumed in the budget law, Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwiecinski told PAP. According to the Central Statistical Office, Poland's GDP rose by 4.6 percent in 2018, a result that proved to be very positive compared to market expectations published throughout the year. "Undoubtedly, now we can say that the level we have assumed in the budget, the 3.8 percent, should be achieved without any difficulty. The growth figure should be higher than that assumed in the budget," Minister Kwiecinski said.
