Rating agency Moody's said in a report on Wednesday that it expected Poland's debt-to-GDP ratio to drop to 49 percent by 2019. "On account of the stronger than expected fiscal performance and the favourable economic environment, we expect the debt-to-GDP ratio to follow a downward trajectory," Moody's wrote. "We forecast the debt-to-GDP ratio will decline to 49 percent by 2019," Moody's said. The agency's forecast is based on the assumptions of the general government fiscal deficit averaging 2.2 percent of GDP over 2018-2021 and primary deficits averaging around 0.7 percent of GDP, as well as average economic growth of almost 4 percent over 2018-2021, according to the report.
