November 22nd, 2017
Effective from January 1, 2018, new rules for the seasonal employment of foreigners enter into force in Poland. The new legislation simplifies hiring procedures concerning short-term staff from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine, among other nationalities. Under the new rules, besides three-year work permits, issued by the central government's provincial representatives, foreigners will be also able to apply for seasonal-work permits - lasting for nine months of a single calendar year - from county governors.
